The methods of our experiential education

  • Cooperation and interaction tasks
From a simple warm-up to the complex problem-solving task. A spiderweb, electric wire or a trust plunge aren’t just mere fun, anyone can paricipate. This starts group processes and makes them visible for the participants.
  • Low ropes course
Our Mohawk-Walk: at a low height we stretch rope constructions between trees. While climbing these, it becomes obvious that helping each other as well as skillful planning are important in order to navigate the ropes.
  • High elements
We climb the high elements that can only be mastered with team work as partners or in groups. The participants are responsible for their own safety using top-roping.
  • Climbing at the High Ropes Course Altenhof
Experiencing limits and motivating each other are important here. 10 separate courses ranging from ‘easy’ to ‘very difficult’ are waiting to be conquered. Equipped with harnesses, helmets and saftey carabiners you can climb up to heights of 20 m.
  • Building a raft
While planning, building and riding the raft sooner or later the question will come up ‘how seaworthy are we?’
  • Archery
With traditional longbows we practice focusing on the goal, feeling tension and tension release and hitting the target making this a unique experience
