Experimental education for schools

Experimental education is activity-oriented learning by experiencing new and unusual situations. Straying from the usual classroom environment we offer programs especially designed for school classes and facilities of child and youth welfare.

We provide your students with challenging situations that serve as valuable chances to grow as an individual as well as socially within the group.

Our programs offer opportunities for teamwork, communication and problem solving. Experiencing success in different new tasks can help students to gain confidence in their own abilities.

Our programs:

CIT – Climbing in teams

In this program the students are challenged to master different levels of our high ropes courses in small groups of 2 to 4. The goal is not only for the students to experience a sporty activity outside of what is usually offered in school classes, but to learn how to help one another and how to motivate someone to try out a task that may be outside their comfort zone.

TeamCraft!

This program is a creative one. Students are encouraged to think outside of the usual parameters and find ways to use wood and other natural materials to create a unique and special piece of art. During this program your students get the chance to try out new craft skills and find out more about the nature in and around forest.

Team training

Our forest area in Altenhof near Eckernförde offers many different challenges. For our team trainings we present the student with diverse exercises that promote cooperation and communication. We encourage your students to search for unusual solutions to the presented problems. That way they truly experience how working together as a team comes with new opportunities for success.

City challenge

We offer different scavenger hunts through the city centers of Kiel, Eckernförde and Kappeln. Throughout this program your students are presented with different interactive exercises along a preplanned route in the city of your choice. This activity is your chance to get to know a new city in a fun and untypical way.

Building rafts

You want to find out how well your class adepts to challenges outside the usual school contexts? Our raft building challenge offers opportunities for team work and creative thinking. In small groups your students get the chance to try their hands at building a raft, that will then be tested for its ability to float on the water.

Finding team spirit on site

For this program our trainers come to your school to offer different team exercises to your students. The exact activities are preplanned to fit the individual conditions at your location. The goal of this event is to allow the students to test their cooperation and communication skills in new contexts. Programs like this can help the students to build stronger relationships with their classmates and can therefore create an overall better learning environment.

Experiencing nature

Our team area in the forest of Altenhof near Eckernförde offers many different chances for experiencing active outdoor programs as a team. This experience focusses on leading your students through different activities that help them learn about nature with all their senses. Work together to solve our exciting nature quiz and enjoy a multitude of creative challenges all together or in small groups.
